Request the pleasure of your company at The Liberty Charlotte on June 12th for the opening round of the 2010 World Cup.

Join us at The Liberty Gastropub at 2pm on June 12th to enjoy light appetizers and drinks before the first round of the 2010 World Cup as the United States will face England for the first time since a famous upset 60 years ago.
The U.S. is 2-7 against England. In the most recent matchups, England won 2-1 at Chicago's Soldier Field in 2005 and 2-0 at Wembley last year.

A portion of each ticket from the event will provide scholarships for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools students to attend a two-week travel and study program in the United Kingdom. The program is conducted by the American Community Schools in London and is entitled The British Studies Summer Program (BSSP). Each year the students are chosen via an essay contest conducted by the British American Business Council North Carolina in conjunction with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
